Terms of service

The agreement between your family and Ommpo.

These terms govern your use of ommpo.com and any Ommpo membership. Read them alongside our scope and disclaimers page, which describes in plain language what each service does and does not do.

Last updated August 2026. Effective on the date first published.

1. Who we are and what you are buying

Ommpo, Inc. ("Ommpo," "we") provides independent coordination, oversight, and documentation around an older adult's life at home. A membership buys attention and coordination — not home care, repairs, security monitoring, medical care, or financial services. Ommpo is not a home care agency, contractor, security company, healthcare provider, or financial institution.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract. When you set up a membership on behalf of an older adult, you confirm that you have that person's consent or the legal authority to act for them. Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Consent and the Trusted Circle

Information is shared only with the people the senior has authorized, at the level authorized. Where the senior retains decision-making authority, they may change or withdraw an authorization at any time. Ommpo does not conduct covert monitoring, and we will not agree to arrangements that hide our involvement from the person we are supporting.

4. Membership, billing, and cancellation

Memberships are billed monthly or annually in advance at the rate shown on the pricing page when you enrol, and renew automatically until cancelled. There is no long-term contract: you may change or cancel a tier with 30 days' notice. Cancellation stops future billing; fees already paid for the current term are not refunded except where required by law. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

5. Third-party vendors and caregivers

Contractors, caregivers, clinicians, and other providers we coordinate with are independent third parties, not Ommpo employees or agents. "Vetted" describes a documented review process — it is not a guarantee of future conduct, pricing, or workmanship. Contracts for their work are between the provider and your family, and their labor, materials, permits, inspections, and emergency premiums are paid separately by you.

6. Not an emergency service

Ommpo does not provide 24/7 emergency response. In an emergency, call 911. For suspected elder abuse, neglect, or exploitation, contact Adult Protective Services or local law enforcement.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Ommpo to harass, surveil without consent, defraud, or gain unauthorized access to another person's accounts or property; to upload unlawful content; or to interfere with our systems. We may suspend or end a membership that puts a senior, a coordinator, or a vendor at risk, or that violates these terms.

8. Your content, our content

You keep ownership of documents, photos, and messages you provide, and you grant Ommpo a limited license to use them to deliver the service. The site, its written material, and Ommpo Care Circle, Care Circle Home, RN Wellness Check-In, and Ommpo Scam Guardian remain the property of Ommpo, Inc.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Services are provided on an "as is" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that every risk, scam, or home problem will be detected. To the extent permitted by law, Ommpo's total liability arising out of the service is limited to the membership fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for the acts of third-party providers. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes, disputes, and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date and, for members, sent by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
