Terms of Service

Effective 1 September 2026 Last updated 1 September 2026 OMMPO LLC — New York City, New York

These terms govern your use of the Ommpo website and membership. A plain-language summary opens each section — they help you read faster but the numbered text is what governs.

Read this first

Ommpo is not insurance. It provides no coverage, no reimbursement, and no guarantee of any price or saving.

You pay providers directly and remain responsible for the full amount they bill. What you buy from us is research, negotiation on your behalf, and written comparisons — performed by non-clinical staff who do not give medical, dental, or veterinary advice.

1. Who we are

In plain wordsUsing the site or buying a membership means you accept these terms.

OMMPO LLC ("OMMPO", "Ommpo", "we", "us") operates the Ommpo website and the Ommpo care advocacy membership. "You" means the person who creates an account or purchases a membership. By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or submitting a request, you accept these terms.

2. What the membership is

In plain wordsYou are buying research and advocacy: calls made, prices found, comparisons written.

A membership entitles you to care-cost research and advocacy services at the level of the plan you purchase. Depending on your tier this may include access to a discount provider network, the provider directory, a named Care Navigator, a set number of research requests per period, written estimate comparisons, appointment preparation, a household care record, and bill review ("BillRelief").

Our deliverable is information: the providers we contacted, the prices they quoted, what those quotes include and exclude, and the conditions attached. We may negotiate cash-pay rates on your behalf where a provider is willing to do so.

3. What it is not

In plain wordsNot insurance, not a provider, not medical advice. In an emergency, call 911.

Ommpo is not insurance, not a health plan, not a managed care organization, and not a provider of medical, dental, or veterinary services. We do not pay claims, reimburse expenses, or assume any part of your cost of care. We do not diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, interpret test results, or refer you to a provider as a clinical judgment.

Nothing we send you is medical, dental, veterinary, legal, or tax advice. In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room or animal hospital — do not wait for a Navigator.

4. Eligibility and your household

In plain words18+, US resident, one household — people and pets included at no extra charge.

You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United States. One membership covers one household — the people and pets who live at your address — at no per-person or per-pet charge. You may submit requests on behalf of a household member, including a minor or a dependent adult, provided you have the authority to do so. Sharing an account across separate households is a breach of these terms and may result in cancellation without refund.

5. Requests and fair use

In plain wordsOne service, one person, one area, up to three providers. Allowances reset each period.

One request means research for one service, one household member, and one geographic area, contacting up to three providers. Requests are counted against the allowance of your tier, reset at the start of each billing period, and do not roll over. Where reasonably possible we aim to return written comparisons within three business days; timelines depend on provider responsiveness and are not guaranteed.

We may decline or pause a request that is outside our service area, requires clinical judgment, concerns an emergency, or is submitted in a volume or pattern inconsistent with household use.

6. Fees, billing, and renewal

In plain wordsCharged in advance by Stripe, renews automatically, 30 days' notice before any price change.

Membership fees are charged in advance, monthly or annually, on the date you join and on the same date each period thereafter. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.; by purchasing you also accept Stripe's terms for the payment itself. We do not store your full card details.

Memberships renew automatically until cancelled. Prices shown on the site apply to our current launch market and may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal. A failed payment may suspend service until the balance clears. One-time purchases, such as a Care Cost Plan, are charged once and do not renew.

7. Cancellation and refunds

In plain wordsCancel any time in one click. First 30 days refunded if the research is unusable.

You may cancel at any time from your member account or by asking your Navigator. Cancellation stops the next charge; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. Tier changes upward take effect immediately with a prorated charge, and downward from the next period.

If your first request goes unanswered or the research we deliver is unusable, tell us within 30 days of joining and we will refund that period in full. Beyond that, fees for periods already served are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Gift memberships

In plain wordsOne prepaid year, no auto-renewal, activated by the recipient.

A gift membership is a single prepaid year delivered on the date you choose. It does not renew automatically and is not redeemable for cash. The recipient must accept these terms and set up their own household details; until they activate it, the purchaser has no access to the recipient's requests or records. Unactivated gifts remain valid for 12 months from purchase.

9. Providers and quotes

In plain wordsProviders are independent. A quote is what they told us on a date — final billing is theirs.

Providers are independent third parties. We do not employ, supervise, endorse, or warrant them, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a provider. A quote we report is what a provider told us on a stated date and may change, expire, or be subject to conditions and additional charges. Final billing is between you and the provider.

We document every quote with the name, date, and terms given, and will raise a discrepancy with the provider on your behalf. We cannot compel a provider to honour a price.

10. Your responsibilities

In plain wordsAccurate information, your own household, and confirm the price with the provider before treatment.

You agree to give accurate information, to keep your account credentials secure, and to use Ommpo only for your own household. You are responsible for your own care decisions, for confirming prices with the provider before treatment, and for the full amount any provider bills you. Do not use the service to harass providers or our staff, to scrape or resell our research, or for any unlawful purpose.

11. Discount plan disclosures

In plain wordsTHIS IS NOT INSURANCE. Discounts only, paid by you, with state notices at enrolment.

Certain tiers include access to a discount medical or dental provider network. THIS IS NOT INSURANCE. The plan provides discounts at participating providers for medical services; it does not make payments directly to providers; you are obligated to pay for all services but will receive any discount the participating provider has agreed to give. Discount plan organization registration, disclosure, and cancellation-right requirements vary by state, and additional state-specific notices are provided at enrolment where applicable.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

In plain wordsNo guaranteed savings, and our liability is capped at the fees you paid in the last 12 months.

The service is provided "as is". We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any saving will be achieved, that a provider will be available, or that research will be error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the membership fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for the acts, omissions, or billing of any provider. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Disputes

In plain wordsTalk to us first. After 30 days, New York law and New York County courts apply.

Please contact us first — most issues are settled by a Navigator within a few days. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it will be governed by the laws of the State of New York and heard in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to proceed elsewhere.

14. Changes and contact

In plain wordsMaterial changes are emailed 30 days ahead. Questions go to info@ommpo.com.

We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed to members at least 30 days before they take effect, and the "last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

Questions about these terms: contact us or write to info@ommpo.com — OMMPO LLC, New York City, New York.
